InfiniteWorld is seeking an exceptional 3D Designer for Apparel. In this role, you will use advanced digital skills to facilitate the creation of 3D product that exceed client expectations. You will be at the forefront of digital fashion, creating photo-realistic apparel for both traditional marketing as well as the Metaverse. You will lead a team of digital artists providing industry leading cloth simulations, photo realistic renderings both on and off fig, animations, and digital presentations.
This is a hands-on position where you will be expected to create content and also serve as a digital 3D lead, helping others develop their skillset by providing technical and tactical support. This position will provide the opportunity to continually grow your knowledge of digital creation tools and processes and stay current with industry digital creation innovations and standards. You need to collaborate effectively with the design/direction team, be a self starter, thrive on innovation and have an insatiable need for creating exceptional content.
Responsibilities:
- 3-5 years of working knowledge in the 3D Apparel space
- Working knowledge of 3D functionality, concept and polygonal modeling, animation, and raytrace rendering
- Experience with Apparel Simulation tools (CLO, Vstitcher, Lotta, Marvelous Designer, or Optitex)
- Experience with 3D creation software (Maya, Max, Blender, etc)
- Demonstrated proficiency using digital Design applications (i.e. Photoshop, and Illustrator)
- Experience working in fast-paced, remote production environment
- Ability to continually expand knowledge of digital creation tools and processes and stay current with industry digital creation innovations
Requirements:
- Degree in apparel/fashion design is a plus
- Experience with Adobe Substance Suite, Unreal Engine, or Houdini
