DreamView is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join our executive team and help us grow. The Chief Marketing Officer will oversee all marketing operations in the company. This individual will develop a creative marketing strategy and vision for the company, and will be in charge of directing the marketing team towards success. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about their profession and driven to improve. Expansive marketing knowledge is a necessity, along with the ability to balance a creative mindset with a practical one.

This is a remote/telecommute position. The studio is 100% virtual and allows the applicant to work anywhere in the world!

Responsibilities

  • Attunement to the market.
  • Directing market research efforts where necessary to help lead the team.
  • Collaborate with, communicate with, and liaise with other departments and teams, with the goal of unifying customer service, distribution, and other aspects of the company in order to meet market demands.
  • Define marketing strategies that are supportive of the overall objectives of the company.
  • Develop a marketing plan and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  • Network in order to create strategic partnerships.
  • Design and coordinate PR campaigns with our internal PR team as their main point of contact at the company.
  • Design and coordinate promotional materials across a variety of channels.
  • Organize, plan, and oversee the execution of:
    • Public Relations
    • Marketing efforts
    • Promotional Campaigns
    • Work across a variety of channels (digital, print, etc.)

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chief Marketing Officer; some similar positions considered.
  • Working understanding of data analysis methods and market research.
  • Experience applying marketing techniques and strategies across a variety of channels, both digital and nondigital.
  • Proficient in the following:
    • MS Office
    • Business Software (i.e. CRMs)
    • Leadership, creative and analytical
    • Communication skills, verbal and written
  • BSc or BA in business administration, marketing, communication, or other relevant fields. MSc or MA is very desirable.
  • Experience in digital media, entertainment, or blockchain.
